Release 0.2.2 adds detection for other network proxies that would otherwise silently intercept AI traffic, and improves reliability when credentials change or a previous run left the local proxy port occupied.

New Features

• Foreign proxy detection: If another proxy on your machine (a corporate MITM proxy like Zscaler or a VPN client) is intercepting AI traffic before CloudZero can see it, the app now detects the situation and surfaces a clear warning in the menu bar popover instead of silently reporting zero usage.

Bug Fixes

• Stale usage after switching CloudZero API keys: When you changed your CloudZero API key, the popover could keep showing the previous account's usage and spend numbers, along with any refresh error from the old key. The app now clears those numbers and any error state as soon as the credential changes, so what you see always matches the key that's currently in use.
• "Port already in use" after an unclean shutdown: If a previous CloudZero session left a cz-monitor process bound to port 9090 (for example after a crash or force-quit), the next launch could fail to start the local proxy without a clear reason. The app now reclaims the port from the orphaned process on launch and, if the port is held by something else, surfaces a specific bind-failure message instead of a generic error.
