Release 0.3.4 is a correctness release which includes bug fixes and improvements.

Bug Fixes

• Correct identity resolution: in some cases, identity values were not being included with shipped telemetry. These records either contained a blank identity field or the backup email set by git. Identity should be correctly resolved now in all cases.

• The menu bar no longer reports a false unhealthy monitor: Every launch showed "Monitor unhealthy — failing open" for around ten seconds even when nothing was wrong. CloudZero now shows a quiet "Checking monitor…" until that check completes, and reports a problem only once one is actually confirmed.

• Cleaner shutdown: A stop from certain application exit paths ended the app in a way the system read as a crash, so in some cases it was restarted immediately. Those stops now run the same clean shutdown as quitting from the menu.

Improvements

• Support diagnostics read monitor health from every place it is written: The app and the network extension record monitor health separately, and the tooling used during a support session read only one of those locations, and read it from a path that does not hold managed values. It now consults all of them from the correct location, so a support session can no longer conclude the monitor is unhealthy from a store that was simply never written.

• Certificate trust logs claim only what can be confirmed: Log lines written while establishing trust for the local certificate authority asserted a Keychain outcome the app has no way to verify. They now describe only what actually happened, so logs reviewed during troubleshooting are not misleading about the state of the certificate.
